LIVEOrdering & Operations Platform

VoloHouse

A custom digital ordering platform designed around the real operational needs of a growing food business.

VoloHouse website and ordering platform

Project Overview

More than an online menu.

VoloHouse needed a digital experience that could do more than display products. The ordering process had to reflect how the business actually operates, including product options, delivery requirements, customer information and internal order handling.

The result is a custom platform that combines a customer website with operational tools behind the scenes, creating a more structured experience for both the customer and the business.

The Challenge

Turning a manual ordering process into a structured system.

A typical contact form was not enough. Orders include multiple products, flavors, quantities, pickup or delivery requirements, scheduling rules and customer information.

The system also needed to account for operational limits, such as minimum order requirements, delivery availability and products that require advance notice.

On the business side, incoming orders needed a clearer way to move from a new request through preparation, pickup or delivery and final completion.

The Solution

A customer experience connected to real business operations.

Instead of treating the website and operations as two separate problems, the VoloHouse platform was designed as one connected workflow.

01

Customer Ordering

A structured ordering experience where customers can browse products, select options, build an order and review everything before submitting.

02

Delivery Logic

Delivery requirements, minimums, service areas and scheduling rules are incorporated directly into the ordering workflow.

03

Order Management

Incoming orders are centralized in an internal admin area where they can be reviewed and moved through operational statuses.

04

Product Management

Products, visibility, availability and other business settings can be controlled without rebuilding the public website.

05

Customer Notifications

Order and status workflows can trigger customer-facing communication and keep the ordering process more structured.

06

Business Configuration

Operational settings such as delivery areas, schedules and order rules are separated from the interface so the platform can evolve with the business.

Product Experience

Designed for both sides of the order.

Customer Side

A clearer way to place an order.

Customers can move through a structured flow instead of manually typing every detail into a message.

  • • Browse available products
  • • Select quantities and options
  • • Review order details
  • • Provide customer information
  • • Select pickup or delivery
  • • Follow delivery and scheduling requirements

Business Side

A better way to manage what happens next.

The admin experience provides a central place to review and manage incoming orders and business settings.

  • • Review incoming orders
  • • Update order status
  • • Manage products and availability
  • • Configure operational settings
  • • Manage delivery-related information
  • • Keep order handling more organized

Interface

From customer experience to internal operations.

The platform is designed as a connected system rather than a collection of disconnected pages.

Outcome

A stronger foundation for daily operations.

The value of the project is not only in how the website looks, but in how the complete workflow supports the business.

Centralized Orders

Customer requests move through one structured ordering flow instead of being scattered across individual messages.

Clearer Operations

Order status and internal management tools create a more organized process from request to completion.

Smarter Delivery Rules

Delivery requirements and availability can be handled as part of the system rather than communicated manually every time.

Built to Grow

The platform is designed so products, business rules and future features can continue evolving without starting from scratch.

Technology

Built on a modern web stack.
